Equality impact assesment
Dear Network Rail Limited,
Please provide a copy of the equality impact assessment for policies and processes relating to penalty fare stations and compulsory ticket areas for disabled passengers (visible and invisible disabilities) in accordance with Conditions of Travel 2016 and Byelaws. This may include:
*signs, notices, information, announcements at stations (including position, format, visibility)
*information on websites and in publications
*training for revenue officers on dealing with disabilities and process they are trained to follow when implenting reasonable adjustments listed in Conditions of Travel such as buying a ticket at the destination
*form (design, format and questions) given to passengers by revenue officers for completion
*process for passengers who have travelled on a non-penalty train
*amount of time that revenue officers are advised to spend per person
*guidelines on information about the policy to be given to passengers and identification to be shown to passengers on request
*number of revenue officers that should be involved with dealing with one passenger at any one time
*process for revenue officers to follow when a passenger declares a disability
*process for revenue officer to follow when a passender declares they are unwell and need help
*processes to monitor compliance by service providers of the reasonable adjustments stated in the conditions of travels 2016 such as disabled passengers purchasing tickets at the destination.
