equality before the law

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Devon and Cornwall Police Authority should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,

as you have probably recently seen in the media there has been alot of speculation over certain members of parliament and their fraudulent expenses.
now what i would like to know is:

a)why have they not been arrested for fraud theft and deception?
b)certain members preventing this information from being released into public knowledge which is classed as obstruction of justice.

c)equality before the law states that everyone shall be treated the same no matter whom they are!
if i was to fiddle my taxes i would surely face imprisonment!why has this not occurred with the members of parliament?
why would the police need to even think about arresting the certain members of parliament when there is substantial evidence proving that they without a doubt have committed a crime here?

as you may of noticed recently there has been quite abit of tension between the public and the police do you not think that doing the job you were sworn into office to do would take some of the public tension away and a little reassurance back to the people by proving your prepared to do your job effectively and efficiently?
as far as i cant tell there has been a mass dereliction of duty amongst the whole police force to act upon these crimes can you please explain as to why the certain members of parliament havnt been arrested handcuffed and interviewed and tried in a court of law?

Yours faithfully,

mark-william:baker

Dear Mr Baker

Dear Mr Baker,

I write in connection with your request for information, which was
received on May 26, 2009 requesting the following information:

could you please supply me with the internal policy regarding non
registered and non licensed vehicles

Unfortunately I am unable to progress with your request at this time. To
enable us to meet your request please could you provide this office with
further information, such as can you please clarify what it is you mean by
'non registered and non licensed vehicles'. Unregistered, in law that
means a car which has no registration mark allocated to it by DVLA and
unlicensed, that effectively means a vehicle not having an excise licence.
If these are the definitions you agree with please let me know.

After receiving your reply, your request will then be considered and you
will receive the information requested within the statutory 20 working
days as defined under the Act, subject to the provisions of that Act.

However, if the requested information has not been received by August 21,
2009 I will assume you will no longer wish to proceed with this request
and it will be treated as withdrawn.

Should you have any further inquiries concerning this matter, please
contact me quoting my reference number as above.

Yours sincerely,

Georgie
