been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You asked for the following information:

The Labour government has introduced the requirement that all rental
properties across England and Wales must reach an EPC level of C by 2030.

How many Council rental properties in Kirklees have reached EPC level of C
and how many are outstanding as at end of December 2024

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

Number of properties with a SAP rating of C or above   14,779

Number of properties with a SAP rating of D or below - 6,453

Number of properties without a SAP calculation - 229

Total properties = 21,461
