EPC ratings for Council properties 2024

We're waiting for Peter Storm to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Kirklees Borough Council,

The Labour government has introduced the requirement that all rental properties across England and Wales must reach an EPC level of C by 2030.

How many Council rental properties in Kirklees have reached EPC level of C and how many are outstanding as at end of December 2024

How many Council rental properties in Kirklees have reached EPC level of C
and how many are outstanding as at end of December 2024

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

Number of properties with a SAP rating of C or above   14,779

Number of properties with a SAP rating of D or below - 6,453

Number of properties without a SAP calculation - 229

Total properties = 21,461

If you are not content with the handling of your request, you have the

be submitted within 2 months of the date of receipt of the response to
your original request and should be addressed to the Monitoring Officer,
