EOTAS Service
Dear Derbyshire County Council,
In email correspondence (8 February 2021), the Lead SEND Officer for the Chesterfield area has made reference to the Council's EOTAS (Education other than at school) Service. The Lead SEND Officer informs us that the Lead Officer of that service is responsible for conducting Annual Review Meetings on behalf of the LA in the same way that a the Head Teacher or SENCO at a school administers an Annual Review Meeting when a child is on roll at that educational institution (i.e. in accordance with SEND Regulation 20).
What is the structure and role of this service?
When did the council create this service?
What is the name of the current Head of Service and the name of the person that the Head of Service currently reports to.
How many staff are assigned to this service?
Yours faithfully,
Lee Martin
