Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the
following information. Specifically, I would like to request:

1. For your environmental health teams (e.g pest control, domestic
nuisance, food hygiene animal welfare, permits etc.) do you have internal
teams?

2. If you have internal teams what is the size of the teams?

Having considered your request, we have provided the following response
below: -

 

1.   We have listed below the internal teams we have that provide the
services you have identified: -

 

Pollution Control Team (10 staff)

Environmental Health Safety Team covering Food Safety, Health & Safety and
Infectious Diseases (10 staff)

Environmental Health Commercial Team covering Commercial Nuisance,
Commercial Waste, Animal Welfare (9 staff)

Environmental Enforcement Team covering domestic noise nuisance and
fly-tipping (9 staff)

Pest Control Team (5 staff)

 

2.   Please see response to question 1 for size of teams.

 

3.   Our services identified above do not use Rostering or Mobile Working
Apps but our Pest Control Team do use a scheduling system for pest control
appointment bookings.

 

4.   The scheduling system used for pest control appointment bookings is
named DRS and is provided by Advanced Business Software Solutions. The
current contract with this company is due to expire on 29 June 2026.

 

5.   All of the services identified above use a case management system
called Civica APP as well as their own manual processes such a
spreadsheets.

 

6.   Food Hygiene inspections are outsourced to Osbourne Richardson and
our Animal Welfare enforcement and emergency response service.
