Environmental Protection Notices
Dear Oxford City Council,
On the 2nd of February 2011, Oxford City Council did a patrol of East Oxford looking for evidence in order to issue notices under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 Section 46.
Please send me a copy of the procedures used for this patrol as given to those undertaking the patrol, and the format of the notes/evidence which was obtained.
Yours faithfully,
Duncan Parkes

Good afternoon,
Further to the acknowledgement below, I can respond as follows:
The Council was not seeking to serve notices under the Environmental
Protection Act 1990 s46. It was looking out for the incorrect
presentation of waste. However, this is one of its powers to deal with
the incorrect presentation of waste from domestic premises.
There are no specific procedures for how to patrol. Patrolling an area
looking for issues with the presentation of waste form part of the
normal working routine.
A copy of the form used to make the notes from a patrol is attached.
Yours sincerely

It looks like Oxford City Council have been as helpful as they could here, providing something related, as they didn't have exactly what I asked for. Thanks!
