Environmental Issues reporting data 2022/23

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Croydon Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

I wish to make a Freedom of Information request in accordance with FOIA 2000 to receive a download of data that you hold for environmental issues (eg fly-tipping, litter, etc) reporting data made for Croydon Borough for the past 2 years - 2022 & 2023. I believe the majority of this data is provided from reports created using the Love Clean Streets app.

The data should be provided in Excel (xls) format and include the following columns:

1) Created Date Time
2) Category Name
3) Category ID
4) Address
5) Ward
6) Status
7) JobCode
8) Latitude
9) Longitude
10) Completed
11) Confirm Status Code/Veolia Resolution Code
12) Completed Date Time
13) Report Source

Please note that this is the same format data is currently provided on a 2 monthly basis to other interested parties in Croydon so hopefully should be a simple task to run the same query/queries to interrogate the relevant database(s) over the requested time period of reports created from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2023.

I look forward to provision of this data within the statutory timeframe of 20 working days.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Hooker

Dear Croydon Information Team,

Many thanks for your reply to my FOI request, and I look forward to receiving the data in due course.

I realised one omission from my original request that would be really useful please:

Can you also provide a column for an (anonymised) user reference/ID for the reports?

It would be really useful to get an understanding and be able to monitor the number of people/users that are creating reports in our area, whilst we continue to promote its usage via our social media/comms, going forward.

Kind regards
A Hooker

Dear [email address],

Thank you for the response to my FOI request and the attached spreadsheet.

However, I must report that I receive an error message when attempting to open the sheet and a number of the columns appear to be blank such that it is obvious that data is missing.

I have attempted to contact you directly.

Yours sincerely,

A Hooker
