Entry of disadvantaged children to secondary schools in Buckinghamshire

We're waiting for Neal Skipper to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Buckinghamshire Council,

I would be most grateful if you could provide the following information for the cohorts that entered state secondary schools in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and 2021 in Buckinghamshire: (a) the total number of year 7 children in Buckinghamshire secondary schools known to be eligible for free school meals (FSM) in year 7: (b) the total number of year 7 children in Buckinghamshire secondary schools known to be eligible for pupil premium (PP); (c) the total number of year 7 children in Buckinghamshire grammar schools known to be eligible for FSM in year 7; (d) the total number of year 7 children in Buckinghamshire secondary schools known to be eligible for pupil premium (PP).

A single common census date would be fine.

We can confirm that Buckinghamshire Council does hold information falling
within the description specified in your request.

We are unable to provide information on the cohort that entered secondary
school in 2021 at this point.

Data on Free School Meals will not be available until we have received all
the data from the October 2021 school census which will be December 2021
at the earliest.

Data on Pupil Premium will not be available until the DfE release the
information to us.

No date for this had been confirmed but please be aware, we did not
receive the data on the 2020 cohort until late July 2021.
