Entitlement to Universal Credit when going abroad for medical treatment

Currently waiting for a response from Department for Work and Pensions, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please inform me of the rules relating to the evidence required when going abroad for medical treatments and entitlements to UC. I am aware of Section 11 under the Universal Credit Regulation 2013; what I am asking for is what specific evidence the JobCentre requires when handling a request of this nature.

Secondly, please inform me whether the same evidential requirements apply to a pregnant women going abroad to receive antenatal care and give birth abroad. Particularly when a medical birth (CS-section) is required.

Yours faithfully,

Pregnant and wondering
