Enquries about Government Pilicies in relation to transsexual people in health.
Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
The government has recently made transphobic changes to the way they deal with trans(sexual) people, sometimes even breaking the law.
What Legal Advice was given to the government or individual ministers that allowed them to ignore the Judgement in the case of Goodwin V the United Kingdom in the European Court of Human Rights in 2001. In particular, Article 8 of the European Convention of Human Rights relating to privacy by forcing people to be out by officials or by individuals themselves?
What legal advice was the government or ministers given in relation to Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, the Right to Freedom of Expression?
What advice was the government or minister given in relation to P vs S and Cornwall County Council at the European Court of Justice in 1996 which prevented discrimination in employment and led to the Sex Discrimination Act (Gender Recognition Regulations) 199, which was absorbed into the Equalities & Human Rights Act 2010? See also various follow up cases and the UK Courts and Tribunals service.
The Cass report has been widely discredited by Medical professionals in the field. Which medical professionals in the field did the government or ministers consult at adult and paediatric specialists in Gender Identity Medicine.
The language used in the Cass report was similar in tone to that used by so-called gender Critical Groups & Evangelical Groups. Was this investigated?
Kemi Badenoch said (I paraphrase) that people chosen for reports such as hers, are chosen not to get accurate results, but to get the results they wished to get. Were the government or ministers aware of this?
Why was an investigation not launched by the government or ministers into the fact that much peer reviewed evidence and science papers were disregarded apparently to get the results wanted?
I would like to receive any and all papers relating to trans health and care dating back to 2019.
Yours faithfully,
pam crossland

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
To Clarify, the information required was in relation to the points made rather than everything. This includes any papers relating to current policies in relation to trans people in health, and legal information relating to current policies in relation to Goodwin V The UK (European Court of Human Rights 2001) and in relation to P Vs S & Cornwall County Council (European Court of Justice 1996) and related Judicial rulings in relation to current policy.
Yours faithfully,
pam crossland
