interesting to know if ECFRS have any plans to follow suit and do the
same.

Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. Please find our response to your request below.

Do you have any plans to update the current firefighting helmets to the

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service has called off the Collaborative PPE
Framework. The Collaborative PPE Project Team carried out a robust
evaluation process. Following this robust evaluation, the helmet selected
for the Framework was the Rosenbauer Heros Titan and therefore Essex
County Fire and Rescue will be changing over to this helmet in October
2019.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request you have the
right to apply for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of your original email and should
