Lse account and finance under graduate admission requires a minimum of a B grade in English Language .Does english as a second language also fall under this category, given that my school did not offer english as a first language classes ?
Yours faithfully,

Dear Shannon,
We would normally expect an enquiry of this nature to be made through our Admissions Enquiries website, which is available here: https://lfylive.lse.ac.uk/lfy/tc/enquiri...
However, our Head of Undergraduate Admissions has said the answer to your question is no. The list of accepted qualifications is here: http://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Underg...

Dear GLPD.Info.Rights,
I have contacted LSE through email but it has been more than 5 working days and I was doubting whether I would get a reply from there. Therefore making my request clear and understandable seemed to be a better option. The minimum English language grade to be a achieved at GCSE's/igcse's is grade B ,and therefore, if English is not a first language another English language qualification like IELTS may have to be undertaken. My question is: Will an applicant get rejected at the initial assessment if the candidate hits the minimum IELTS score but cannot meet the Igcse English language requirement at grade B ?If the answer is yes for rejection, does retaking igcse English as a second language and achieving grade A(along with grade 1 in speaking) hit the minimum GCSE English language requirement?
I hope LSE takes this into consideration
Yours sincerely,
Shannon Ahmed
Dear Shannon,
The Undergraduate Admissions Office is undergoing their busiest period of the year, which is why they are unable to respond quickly.
You have already been provided with the information available relating to English Language requirements. In this request. you are not asking for information, but for consideration of your application. As such, we do not consider this a Freedom of Information request as it does not meet the requirements of Section 8 of the Freedom of Information Act.
However, should you wish to appeal the decision, put your appeal in writing to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE within 40 days of receiving the School’s response. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly
