The request was successful.

Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),

Please provide copies of the full risk assessments pertaining to the football game held at Wembley England v Hungary (Qualifier) on Tuesday 12 October 2021, including road/street closures, man power ie PC/PCSO/TSU numbers. Mounted police numbers and cost.

There was some fighting at the game and visual attacks on a number of Police. Can you confirm if these were actual Police or TSU personnel. If there was a combination of personnel, please give the number.

How many arrests were made at the game?

Were any of the Police/TSU injured?

Why did the Police retreat?

Did the Plan for the game underestimate the Fans Behaviours?

Many thanks,

Yours faithfully,

Tatt J

Dear Cyclops on behalf of Ruth Binfor,

Thank you for your response, would you be so kind as to answer some further questions?

In your response, in the table labelled "Total Resources Deployed on this Event" it states, the breakdown of "Insp., PS, PC & Staff"

This does not include a separate column for TSG personnel. Can you provide the exact figures for them please?

Do TSG personnel have lawful powers to arrest?

How does this work in regard to legitimacy in court cases etc?

Are they provided with arrest warrants?

What is the level of their involvement in policing. Are they just support, similar to PCSO, or on line with constables?

They read as a private company, are they?

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
Tatt J

Dear J Tatt,

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in coming back to you and for any inconvenience caused.

Answer
TSG on this event was 1-3-21
1 x Inspector, 3 x Sergeants, 21 x PC's - these numbers are already included in the original figures we supplied.

Below is a previous FOIA that was disclosed in relation to TSG, which provides more data.
