England 2020 games in UK: Was crowd noise doctored when players took the knee?
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I'm curious as to whether an FoI would establish the extent by which electronic tricky* was used during the recent Euro 2020 football tournament to mask the crowd's discontent when players took to their knees @ Middlesborough or Wembley prior to games involving England. I suspect the audio broadcasted into peoples homes differs significantly from what was actually heard live in the stadium.
If the answer is 'yes' please provide a link to the original footage & audio.
Yours faithfully,
Dave Covey
(*Deliberately masked by editorial/production team with other than genuine/real time crowd noise to stifle booing and create the illusion that the crowd(s) approved while I suspect many did not).
