Engie contract & tender documents (Document and Data Management Services)

Currently waiting for a response from Department for Work and Pensions, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I came across the following web page:

https://www.engie.co.uk/about-engie/news...

It stated on 13th April 2018 that:

“ENGIE has extended its relationship with Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) with the award of a five-year contract for the supply of Document and Data Management Services (DDMS) and a four-year contract for Transcription Services.

The contracts will see ENGIE supporting DWP’s Digital by Default 2020 Vision plan to replace paper processes with digital services, thereby improving service provision whilst driving down costs.

Within the DDMS contract, ENGIE will provide and manage a secure, comprehensive mail and document scanning & indexing solution for up to 24 million inbound mail items per year, as well as processing a range of multi-format inbound channel communications services. The bulk of this service will be provided from a dedicated facility in the West Midlands, and will introduce new technologies and processes designed specifically to enhance the customer journey for DWP applicants.”

RFI1: Please disclose the contract documents between the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and Engie for the work described in the statement referenced above (the full statement on the web page not the excerpt included above). Please include the tender documents issued when the contract was originally advertised.

Yours faithfully,

John Slater
