'Following engagement with the emergency services, four modal filters will be enforced via
CCTV and there will not be a physical barrier in place. This is to allow access for emergency
vehicles only.......'
1. Have you a copy of the engagement docs with the emergency services please?
2. This was a joint project with WF Council, but which boroughs employee wrote the EQIA?

Response
1. Please find attached the requested information held in respect of consultation conducted
with the emergency services in relation to low traffic neighbourhood schemes.
Please note, under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act the names and contact
details relating to individuals, either junior officers or third party individuals have been
redacted from the documents. Disclosure would contravene the GDPR principles which
requires that personal data shall be processed lawfully and fairly by the London Borough of
Newham. In order that you may still be able to consider the exchanges made between the
corresponding parties we have retained the organisation origin of email addresses and email
signature sign offs in the redacted correspondence.
2. Each borough wrote their respective Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA)

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an
internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of
