Enforcing licences on moving water craft
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I am making this request for information under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would to know if TV Licensing holds any licensed vehicles such as barges and if so how many licensed water craft you have in the database, as they are always mobile and do not hold an "address" but yet have the ability to receive live signals if they install an aerial, also if this is the case how would your contracted enforcement officers obtain a search warrant where applicable if the owner had not bought a licence as the vehicle in question receiving a live broadcast is always moving as barge's usually are and are only permitted to moor up in the same spot for 14 days.
Yours faithfully,
Martin Allen
