Enforcement Officers / Street Marshalls for Peterborough Town Centre

The request was successful.

Dear Peterborough City Council,

I understand from a recent job advert that a team of licensed door supervisors are being recruited to patrol Peterborough city Centre as enforcement officers.

1. How many staff are being recruited?

2. How much is the cost of the staff and which department is funding the additional staff.

3. What powers will the enforcement officers have and which offences will they deal with?

4. Why do the staff have to have a SIA door supervisor licence which appears to be a qualification required for pub dooormen that used to be known as bouncers? Please provide any documents indicating why such a qualification is required.

5. Please provide a copy of any consultation documents concerning the new scheme and how any performance will be measured.

6. Parking enforcement wear a blue uniform, prevention and enforcement officers wear a green uniform who seem to do the same job as the new enforcement team. What uniform will they wear to differentiate them from the other enforcement officers or the police?

Yours faithfully,

Susan Russell

1. How many staff are being recruited?

they deal with?

Enforcement officers will have delegated powers to enforce Public Space

4. Why do the staff have to have a SIA door supervisor licence which
appears to be a qualification required for pub dooormen that used to be
known as bouncers?

Decision around staffing and qualifications required is for the contractor
to decide.

Please provide any documents indicating why such a qualification is
required.

Please see above this is a contractor's decision.

5. Please provide a copy of any consultation documents concerning the new
