Council, subject to exemptions contained within the Act. The Act does not
require the Council to create information to respond to a request if the
requested information is not held, nor to give an opinion or comment.

Please note that, for the below, Council Tax and Business Rates (Revenues
and Benefits) fall within the Council Remit.

For Parking Braintree District Council is part of the North Essex Parking
Partnership (NEPP) therefore response below for parking relate to NEPP who
covers the Braintree area.

 

  

Q1. Your current suppliers used to collect the following debts (please

• Parking Fines (PCNs) Bristow & Sutor, Equita, Newlyn and Marston

 

• Council Tax CDER Group, Marston Holdings , Newlyn PLC

 

• Business Rates (NDR) CDER Group, Marston Holdings, Newlyn PLC

For the below the Council does not have a contract with any of our
Enforcement Agents. They are all actioned via a SLA (Service Level
Agreement).

• Business Rates (NDR) N/A

 

Q4. Are your Revenues and Benefits or Parking Services outsourced, and if
they are, please state who is the supplier responsible for each or both
service e.g. Capita, APCOA, Agilysis, Serco, Liberata etc.

Parking Partnership (NEPP)

The Enforcement agents for Revenues and Benefits, Service Level
Agreements, fall under the responsibility of the Councils Revenues and
Recovery Manager.

 

The Parking  contracts and agreements fall under North Essex Parking
Partnerships Head of Parking.
