Enfield Councils current policy on bus/tram, lane/gate enforcement, Christmas Day?

The request was successful.

Dear Enfield Council,

I wish to know if you 'enforce' bus/tram, lanes/gates on Christmas Day, when no buses or trams (whichever is applicable) are in operation?

I am asking this same question to a number of Councils across the UK to find out what their policy is on enforcing contraventions on Christmas Day?

Yours faithfully,

David Blythen

Ivor Norman,

Dear Mr Blythen

In response to your query regarding enforcement of Bus Lanes etc on
Christmas day, I can report the following in Respect of Enfield Council.

In Enfield all traffic orders remain in force for all restrictions
applicable to the days covered by the various traffic orders irrespective
of whether these days fall  on a Christmas day ,Boxing Day or other
Bank/Public Holiday.

However the Council does not carry out any enforcement of Bus lanes on
Christmas day.

Hope this answers your query.
