Dear Amber,

Further to your Freedom of Information request dated 02 October 2024, I write to inform you that we will
not be providing the information you have requested from Our Lady of Hartley Catholic Primary School, a
school for which the Trust is responsible.

There is very limited public interest in the information that you have requested, and, in addition, the Trust
has considered your request may be deemed to be commercially sensitive. Section 43 (2) of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000 exempts information whose disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the
commercial interests of any legal person (an individual, a company, the public authority itself or any
other legal entity). Our reasoning for applying this exemption is that disclosure of the information you
request is likely to prejudice the commercial interests of the Trust and or the companies with which the
Trust engages as its suppliers. Guidance on this exemption can be found on the website of the
Information Commissioner’s Office here.

If you are unhappy with this response and believe that the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership has not
complied with legislation, you have 40 working days from the date of this response to ask for a review.
You can do this by following our appeals process; details can be found at this link https://primarysite-
prod-sorted.s3.amazonaws.com/kent-catholic-partnership-redesign/UploadedDocument/1ea3c96f-
4ca3-4389-9d1a-74ceedd2e336/freedom-of-information-policy.pdf o
n our website.
If you remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can appeal to the Information Commissioner,
who oversees compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do,
should you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the Information Commissioner’s
website http://ico.org.uk/concern.

Yours sincerely,

Charlotte Robinson
