consumption at Ark Isaac Newton Academy
Dear Amber,
Thank you for your request of 29 January 2024 asking for information under the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) 2000 on the print management and energy consumption at Ark Isaac
Newton.
Please find the requested information below. You will see we haven’t provided you with the data
requested for questions 10 and 18 on the total spend on MFDs and desktop printers for the last
12 months as its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of
any legal person (an individual, a company, the public authority itself or any other legal entity)
and is exempt under Section 43 (2) of the FOIA.
1. What is the current average energy charge within the organisation (kW hour)??
30p for electricity and 3p for gas per kWh
2. What Carbon reduction goals are in place within the organisation?
Year on Year 20% reduction, to reduce carbon emissions by 75% by 2030
3. What is the contact email for the person who deals with sustainability and ESG matters
