Dear Matthew Davis,
Thank you for your correspondence of 11 February, in which you made the following request
for information:
For each of your Government office buildings that are part of your department in
London could you please answer the following questions.

1. What was the bill for all energy costs at that building in (i) 2019/20, (ii) 2020/21 and
(iii) each of the first three quarters of the 2021/22 financial year?

2. If possible, please split this bill up by the constituent costs? Eg how much for gas,
electricity, oil etc……

We have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act). I can
confirm that the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) does not have
information within scope of your request. This is because we are tenants in the buildings we
occupy. Up until 1 October 2021 our landlords were HMRC, however since that date the
landlords are the Government Property Agency. I suggest you contact both of those parties
to obtain the information for the DCMS offices.
Yours sincerely,
Freedom of Information Team
Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
