The request was refused by Merton College, Oxford.

Dear Merton College, Oxford,

I understand that a TV company has recently filmed within your college.

I have a few questions:

1) How much was Merton paid?
2) Were the undergraduates or tutors notified beforehand of the event(s) ?
3) Do requests from TV companies go through the due process of your governing body?

Yours faithfully,

Mike Magee

Charles Alexander, Merton College, Oxford
