End of refferals to Work Programme

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

It was stated in the Public Accounts Committee report on the Work Programme published on 6 November 2014 that this programme was to be replaced and that no new referrals were to be made to the Work Programme after March 2016.

From information that you hold can you confirm if this is still the case?

Are JSA claimants being referred to the Work Programme after March 2016?

What will happen to JSA claimants who have been referred to the Work Programme after March 2016 given that the programme is intended to last 104 weeks and the programme will be terminated before completion?

Yours faithfully,

Mark Pape
