Empty/Disused, Schools/Community Buildings in and around Stoke-On-Trent City Council
Dear Stoke on Trent City Council,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request a list of all Empty/Disused buildings in the are that you hold. This is to include, names, addresses; and use type.
This would mean all buildings that are unoccupied, abandoned, and/or derelict, this includes Business buildings, Schools, and Healthcare buildings etc,; owned by Stoke-On-Trent City Council.
Please note that I am not asking for a list of empty residential homes which are available for rent/purchase.

Thank you for your request for a list of all empty/disused buildings in
the area that are owned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Your request was
received by the Information Rights Team on 03 March 2023. This is being
dealt with under the terms of the appropriate Information Rights
legislation.

Under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act we do not have to
provide information if it is already reasonably accessible to you. The
information that you have requested is now available on our website via

From the above link you will need to filter the company name to properties
for Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and for those with Empty Property Relief.
You will then need to cross reference the property reference number with
the all business rates accounts to obtain the full address.

This information will be updated on our website every quarter year. Your
request therefore also engages section 22 of the Act and information for
the time period you have specified will not be provided.

future date (whether determined or not); or the information was already
