Dear Southwark Borough Council,

Over the last few years I have witnessed Camelot - Protected by Occupation signs in the windows of several large council-owned buildings in the borough, for example John Smith House at 150 Walworth Road.
I would like to receive detailed information regarding the relation between Southwark Council and Camelot Property Management Ltd.

1. Please provide the number of properties that are known to be currently managed by Camelot Property Management Ltd in the borough.

2. Please provide the number of properties that have been managed by Camelot Property Management Ltd since 2005 in the borough.

3. Could you please let me know which Southwark Council department is responsible for signing agreements with Camelot Property Management Ltd?

3. Please provide the total amounts paid by Southwark Council to Camelot Property Management Ltd for the management of empty properties since 2005.

In response to your request, I am able to provide the following
information

1.      Please provide the number of properties that are known to be
currently managed by Camelot Property Management Ltd in the borough.

As at 06 January 2012 there were 7 properties occupied by Camelot. There
are currently 5 as at 02 February 2012.

2.      Please provide the number of properties that have been managed by
Camelot Property Management Ltd since 2005 in the borough

There have been 20 properties in total since 2005.

3.       Could you please let me know which Southwark Council department
is responsible for signing agreements with Camelot Property Management
Ltd?

The property division within the deputy chief executive's department.

4.      Please provide the total amounts paid by Southwark Council to
Camelot  Property Management Ltd for the management of  empty properties
since 2005.

Do not touch Camelot Property Management with a barge-pole.

They do not care about their Guardians and fail to come up with keys to securely lock your property!

Oh, and they're happy to take your money and ignore your phonecalls and emails. They still have £770 of mine and i'm not even in the property.
