Please can you provide me with the following information under the Freedom of information act 2000

(a) Addresses of all commercial properties that are within Brighton and hove council area that have been empty for more than 12 months

and

(b) Any contacts details you have for the owners of the listed properties

I am looking for commercial property for my business which is based in Brighton and am unable to find anything suitable on the market and have been searching for some time. I do however see many unoccupied derelict and empty commercial buildings in Brighton and cannot understand why or how they are allowed to be left in this manner. Unavailable commercial properties are pushing businesses out of Brighton and Brighton and hives continued permissions for converting commercial buildings into residential properties only makes matters worse.
