Empty buildings

Dear City of Westminster College,

Can you provide me with the following information under the
Freedom Of Information Act 2000:-

(a) addresses of any empty buildings (be it commercial or
residential or industrial or industrial or storage facility etc) which belongs to yourselves

(b) addresses of any buildings (be it commercial or residential or industrial or storage facility) which belongs to yourselves, that are scheduled to be vacant in the next 12 months for whatever reason.

(c) if possible, type of use (eg. storage, office, warehouse, training, staff accommodation, medical facility etc) of those buildings referred to in (a) and (b)

(d) if possible, approximate date (month and year) from which it became empty or will become empty, of those buildings referred to in (a) and (b)

(e) the person in charge of making security issues on those referred to in (a) and (b)

I write in response to your Freedom of Information request dated 31
January 2013.  Please note that we will provide information on the
number and type of buildings which are empty but will not be providing
address details.  We consider this to be exempt under Section 31 of the
Freedom of Information Act by virtue that disclosure could likely
prejudice the prevention of crime, i.e. by identifying the location of
empty buildings.

 

a)    Addresses of any empty buildings (be it commercial or residential
or industrial or industrial or storage facility etc) which belongs to
yourselves.

 

One empty building in Maida Vale.

 

b)    Addresses of any buildings (be it commercial or residential
or industrial or storage facility) which belongs to yourselves, that are
scheduled to be vacant in the next 12 months for whatever reason.

 

Not applicable.

 

c)    If possible, type of use (eg. storage, office, warehouse,
training, staff accommodation, medical facility etc) of those buildings
referred to in (a) and (b).

 

Educational use.

 

d)    If possible, approximate date (month and year) from which
it became empty or will become empty, of those buildings referred to in
(a) and (b).

 

Empty since 2011.

 

e)    The person in charge of making security issues on those referred
to in (a) and (b).
