In view of one of your employees recently being convicted for the second time of benefit fraud offences what steps if any are you taking to ensure you do not employ any other staff who have defrauded public money ?

How many of your staff are shown by the Disclosure and Barring Service as having criminal convictions regardless as to whether or not they are "relevant offences"

Further to your recent FOI request please find our response below

In view of one of your employees recently being convicted for the second time of benefit fraud offences what steps if any are you taking to ensure you do not employ any other staff who have defrauded public money ?

Full disclosure and barring checks are carried out on all persons who are given a conditional offer for any post at Redwood school. Upon receiving the results of the checks, the Head teacher will make an executive decision as whether the person is suitable for the post.

How many of your staff are shown by the Disclosure and Barring Service as having criminal convictions regardless as to whether or not they are "relevant offences"

The school does not hold the information requested, as above the Headteacher will make an executive decision on receiving the checks if there are any ‘relevant offences’
