Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
I would like to know from your Department, in respect of the year 2014 (where relevant):

1) What is the DWP policy regarding the employment by DWP of persons who are disabled or who have incurable medical conditions?
2) Does the DWP require private contractors to apply the same policy?
How does the DWP monitor private contractors' performance in this respect?
3) How many DWP staff in the last year were either disabled or suffering from an incurable medical condition?

Yours faithfully,

Jim Thorne
