Currently waiting for a response from Medway Council, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Medway Council,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from Medway Council. Please may you provide me with:

1) How many people does the Council currently employ?

2) How many people have the Council made redundant in the last 5 years including ‘pay outs' above £20K? Yearly breakdown please.

3) How many staff within the last 5 years have been made redundant as a result of a restructure, how much was paid out? Yearly breakdown please.

4) How many people have the Council employed over the last 5 years? Yearly breakdown please.

5) How many apprentices have the Council employed over the last 5 years? Yearly breakdown please.

Please provide the information in the form of a response to this email.

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.

If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined, I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.
