This information is not available
· Are all of your disabled service users (patients) able to access
your services as easily and as fully as people who are not yet disabled?
In terms of physical access to Trust services we are not able to say that
services are as easily accessible to disabled service users as for people
who are not yet disabled. This is due to the fact that our premises vary
in type, size and age. All Trust premises are audited for Disability
Access and where full access is not currently possible plans are in place
to provide alternative access to ensure that individuals receive services
which fully meet their needs. The Trust has working group in place which
monitors and manages access to all of our premises. This group identifies
any gaps and implements appropriate actions, including reasonable
adjustments, in line with the Trust’s Estates Strategy.
The Trust has a British Sign Language Charter Action Plan, which has been
developed with the support of the Nottinghamshire Deaf Wellbeing Action
Group and the British Deaf Association, who are our supporters and
critical friends. This action plan identifies what we need to do to
improve our services, including access to these services, to better meet
the needs of Deaf people. This Action Plan is monitored by the Workforce,
Equality and Diversity Committee, whom services are accountable to.
In addition, The Trust has all the systems in place to support staff and
enable compliance with the Accessible Information Standard, from flagging
to education. It also includes written and spoken communication
difficulties not originally covered by the standard.
· What percentage of your service users (patients) are a)
unemployed, b) underemployed?
Please note we are unable to provide an accurate representation of the
employment status of our patients and service users. This is because the
Trust uses numerous electronic patient record systems, not all of which
allow for the recording of employment status. Therefore we are unable to
respond to this question.
Exemption(s) which apply

As part of our monitoring process to ensure that we continue to meet your
requirements, we would be grateful if you could please take a few moments
