Emergency Response Times as a result of the LTNs in Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham

We're waiting for SP Snee to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear London Fire Commissioner (London Fire Brigade),
Please could you provide me with your correspondence (in particular any concerns and/or objections raised by LFB regarding impact on Emergency Response Times as a result of the LTNs) with TfL, Department for Transport, and with Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham Councils (specifically the Low Traffic Neighbourhood Schemes).

The information can be limited from January 2020 to date.

Yours faithfully,
SP Snee

London Fire Brigade

Dear SP

Thank you for your request.

This will be considered under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and we will respond as soon as we are able. Please note, given the current situation with the Coronavirus, this may be outside of the normal, expected timeframe for a FOI response (20 working days).

Thank you for your patience,

with kind regards

Dear SP Snee,

Thank you for your request for information about the London Fire Brigade.

As yet, we have seen no impact from local traffic schemes on our
attendance times in Lambeth or Southwark. As the table below shows, the
average attendance time for the first fire engine is faster in 2020, then
in 2019 for both boroughs (and both are within our London-wide target of 6
minutes).

Table showing the average arrival time for the first fire engine
(2017-2020)

Borough 2017 2018 2019 2020
Southwark 06:05 06:04 06:04 05:43
Lambeth 05:28 05:26 05:20 05:10

We publish attendance time for every incident we attend as part of our
Open Data which you can access here
([1]https://data.london.gov.uk/dataset/londo...).

We continue to monitor our attendance times in all areas of London and we
publish an annual report. You can access the most recent report here
([2]https://data.london.gov.uk/dataset/incid...).

I hope this information is useful.

Kind regards

Andy
