Emergency Planning processes used at Knowsley Council

I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please send me information on:

Within the council, who is the person that is responsible for emergency planning?

What systems does the council use when an emergency occurs? E.g. pen and paper, Excel, a system or another method?

If the council uses a software system, which vendor do you use for your emergency planning solution?

What is the current contract term (how long is it and when does it expire)?

What is the value of said contract?

If the council does not have a software system, will the council be researching the market (with the intention to buy) over the next 12 – 18 months?

If yes, when will be the council be aiming to purchase the system by?

I would like the above information to be provided to me via email.

If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

If the release of any of this information is prohibited on the grounds of breach of confidence, I ask that you supply me with copies of the confidentiality agreement and remind you that information should not be treated as confidential if such an agreement has not been signed.

Thank you for your email received on 22 December 2017 requesting information about Emergency Planning.

I have recorded your request for information under reference F2017.12.4192.

This has been passed to the relevant service and you will receive a response by 24 January 2018.

In line with guidance published by the Information Commissioner’s Office, the council may make a charge for the provision of information – for example in order to cover the costs of postage (in line with the relevant postal charges) or charges for printing and copying (which will reflect photocopying charges levied by the council’s public libraries) or if this falls within the regulations of an EIR (Environmental Information).

You will be informed if a fee is to be applied before information is to be provided.

emergency such as pen and paper, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, One
Note, etc. but templates exist in paper and Microsoft Word format for
