Dear Abdul Hai

I am writing in response to your request for information below.

As I understand it you are seeking to know:

Can you publish the latest copy of your emergency plan in the event of
a civil emergency?

Emergency Management across London is governed by the Minimum Standards
for London which were introduced in 2007 and was adopted across all London
councils. The standards outline all emergency plans, capabilities and
response arrangements a London Local Authority must have in place to
ensure a minimum level of resilience across London. These plans and
capabilities are reviewed regularly and consulted upon by key
stakeholders, signed off by strategic personnel and validated through
exercising.

Provided is a redacted copy of the Corporate Civil Emergency Plan that
outlines the core response by the council.   Some information has been
removed in accordance with S24 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
which provides that information is exempt if it is required for the
purpose of safeguarding national security.  We have considered the public
interest on this matter and we are of the view that the public interest is
in favour of this information being withheld.

If you have any queries regarding this matter please do not hesitate to
contact me.

write, within 2 months, to:
