Dear Mr Beanie
 
Information on the use of individual B&B’s and the number of nights per
household over the last six financial years is not held in a way that can
be reported from the system electronically. To collate information to
respond to the question(s) would require looking through all records and
manually extracting the information required. This is estimated to take
more than 18 hours of staff time to collate, which would exceed the
appropriate cost limit for Local Authorities of £450 (for providing
information under the Freedom of Information Act).
 
We could provide details of the total spend on Bed and Breakfast and
temporary accommodation for each year over the past 6 years if this would
be useful.
 
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 this letter is a
refusal notice to your request.  If you are dissatisfied with the way your
request has been handled, you may ask for an internal review. Please
