Emails between the NIHR and the DHSC regarding objection to proposed puberty blocker trial
Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
On the 13th February 2025, I received the following email from Dr. Dani Preedy at the NIHR, regarding my objection to the proposed puberty blocker clinical trial ("Puberty blocker clinical trial objection.pdf"):
"Dear Orlando
I have discussed your query with colleagues at the Department of Health and Social Care. They have confirmed that there is no further information that NIHR can provide beyond the response you have already received...."
Please could I request any electronic communication, e.g. emails, that may exist between Dr. Preedy and the DHSC regarding any discussion of my objection to the proposed puberty blocker clinical trial ("Puberty blocker clinical trial objection.pdf").
Please could I also request any electronic communication, e.g. emails, that may exist more broadly between the NIHR and the DHSC regarding any discussion of my objection to the proposed puberty blocker clinical trial ("Puberty blocker clinical trial objection.pdf").
The time frame that these discussion could have taken place would be between the beginning of December 2025 and the end of February 2025.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Orlando Woolf

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Emails between the NIHR and the DHSC regarding objection to proposed puberty blocker trial'.
The response to my request is long overdue. Under all circumstances, the authority should have responded by now
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...
Yours faithfully,
Orlando Woolf
