Email/flyer to TfL station staff bus driver toilets

Transport for London did not have the information requested.

Dear Transport for London,

There is an agreement in TfL/LUL that London bus drivers are allowed to use toilets at the underground station.

May i please see the emails sent to relevant department or managers of the underground depot.

May i also know if there was a poster or flyer for TfL staff to allow London bus drivers to be allowed to use toilets. If there is a flyer can we please see a copy of this flyer as i presume that a flyer was meant to be generated following incidents that TfL underground staff were not aware London bus drivers were actually allowed to use the toilets.

Yours faithfully,

Muhsin Manir

Dear Muhsin Manir

Our ref: FOI-1351-1920/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. We have
published a couple of reminders (the last about a year ago) that bus
drivers should be permitted access to toilets at the underground stations.
However, we have searched and been unable to locate a copy of this
reminder.

I am sorry that we are unable to assist you on this occasion. If you are
not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet
for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely

Dear Transport for London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Transport for London's handling of my FOI request 'Email/flyer to TfL station staff bus driver toilets'.

I am disappointed that access toilets at Tube stations aren't taken seriously and often left to shame despite being in full uniform and showing the Tfl bus operators pass.

I believe that there has been an inconsistency of communication and the concern has not been reiterated.

Please pass this to the relevant team at TfL. Claire Mann at the London Assembly safety panel for bus and tram did also confirm that bus drivers should not be turned away.

I believe that an email or flyer for staff has not been communicated sufficiently or at all?

Please can an email be sent and a flyer attached for all TfL staff and send a copy here once this is done?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e...

Yours faithfully,

Muhsin Manir

Dear FOI,

I have not had an acknowledgement.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Muhsin Manir

Thank you for your email. In your email of 22 September you requested that your comments be passed onto the appropriate team regarding access to toilets at stations for bus drivers. Your email was passed to our London buses team as soon as it was received by the FOI Case Management team.

I will forward your email again today, however this is no longer an FOI issue and we are unable to assist you further beyond the remit of an FOI request.
