Dear Cambridge City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Cambridge City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Email backup practices and policies'.

I have submitted a straightforward request for some information about whether councillors or other officials can plausibly claim to have lost electronic records, as this has been given as an excuse in previous attempts by residents to obtain information. My request has effectively been ignored. I am advised that this is due wholly or in part to an administrative system which permits requests to be treated as resolved when they have not been.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/e... and there has been no interaction about it so far, formally or informally, via any other channel.

Yours faithfully,
