I notice lately they no longer give reference number to most FoI requests.

How are they going to keep track of those requests?

J Khan left an annotation ()

This one does but some others don't. Hmmm...

Wayne Pearsall left an annotation ()

They already have their response ready based upon an exception most likely... Just wait til day 20 - our longer to slow you down... Look at my "not properly defined" requests

Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ), UK Border Agency

Dear Wayne Pearsall,

Further to your below request.

Section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act provides that a public authority need not comply with a request for information unless any further information reasonably required to identify and locate the information is supplied. I am unclear about the exact scope of the information in which you are interested. To ensure that we provide you with the right information, please could you clarify your request, so that we can process your request.

Can you confirm what you mean by UKBA Divisions as I am unfamiliar with the term. You have provided links from the contact page referring to contact details for the LITs did you mean the contact details for the LITs rather than UKBA Divisions unfortunately your request is unclear.

When you provide this information we will aim to send you a full response to your request within twenty working days of its receipt. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. However, please note that if I do not receive appropriate clarification of your request within three months from the date of this letter, I will consider this request to be closed.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),

Your West Midlands reporting centre / port / office at Home Road issues reference numbers in the form of WMD/###### with WMD = West Midlands Division.

So with the response of unfamiliar with the term division... (if this is incorrect, and the WMD does indeed mean something else, please provide this :) )

By reference to your UKBA contacts page, I believe you may refer to:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/aboutu... (along with subpages, which list the details below)

I am unsure of what you refer to by the term LIT (I do assume it refers to 'Local Immigration Team').

To clarify my question, given that your website lists the email addresses below - in addition to the email addresses I provided (which are not listed on your website).

Please supply me with a list of all email addresses to:
1) all reporting centres within the UK
2) all intel units within the UK

I also question why your website doesn't list the same details for all "LIT'S" not all of the pages give an email address, and the Scotland/NI webpage gives no contact details or address.
