The request was refused by Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council.

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Can you supply me with any emails sent to Wirral Social Services employees reguarding them not answer any further emails from myself.

To help you in this matter they were allegedly sent from Caroline Mckenna.

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Jane will you please supply me with any recorded information which was recieved by any member of Wirral CYPD, regarding answering emails sent to them from me..?
It might help if you ask Karen Anderson of the adoption team firstly, because it was Karen who informed me that she had received an instruction to this effect..

Dear InfoMgr, FinDMT,
No dear Jane I have no letter from Wirral CYPD identifying a SPOC to me.
Where on earth did you get this misinformation from?

Yours sincerely,

John Hannigan

Good Afternoon,
Regarding your email below. If I can draw your attention to a request
you sent into the Council below, in which you mention a Single Point Of
Contact within CYPD,(SPOC):-

"Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council
I have recently been restricted in the sending of my complaints to the
Children and Young Peoples Department I have now to post any further
complaints in writing to Dawn-Stanley-Smith, rather than by way of
email.

Can you please tell me how many other parents of a Looked After Child
has been restricted also by way of this sanction in the last twelve
months.

Yours faithfully,

John Hannigan"

I hope this information is useful to you.

Dear InfoMgr, FinDMT,

Sorry Jane the letter you quote from did not mention anything about a SPOC or indeed identify one to me just that anymore complaints would merely be put on file.
What good is that?
I need to contact my very own SPOC.
If you do not understand I will explain Im not allowed or they to me to engage with any person but my SPOC. I do not want to be seen by you as being a person who does not follow instructions or indeed get anymore of your staff in hot water for answering questions put to them by me.
Yours sincerely,

John Hannigan

Good Afternoon,

The letter you were sent on 5th February 2013 gives details of how you
should communicate with CYPD.  I have taken an extract from the letter and
reproduced it below.

"......This restriction is that any communication should be made by letter
and addressed to a named officer.  The named officer in this case will be
Dawn Stanley-Smith, Customer Resolution and Information Manager, Hamilton
Building, Conway Street, Birkenhead, Wirral, CH41 4FD....."

Your single point of contact (SPOC) for CYPD correspondence is Dawn
Stanley Smith, contact details as above.

Dear Corrin, Jane,

Thanks can you please quote for me in the same letter where it mentions my SPOC as a term is Dawn Stanley Smith?

I do not as I've mentioned previously to you be a burden to you or the authority or be seen to obsessive but by the term single person does this include my daughters key worker or is this restriction just for my future complaints against the authority.

Is it ok to involve a local councillor if not please provide provide the provision which states this please?

Yours sincerely,

John Hannigan

Good Afternoon,
Further to your email below. I believe you are in receipt of the letter
sent to you, dated 5th February 2013. This means the information
contained in the letter, describing what the exact restrictions are is
already recorded information which is in your possession.

The term used in the letter is "a named officer"; this is in effect
giving you a single point of contact relevant to the restrictions you
have been given in the letter.

Recorded information on contacting a Councillor is below

ors/contact-your-councillor

The attached document relates to CYPD complaints policy and procedures
and gives details of what may be considered to be a complaint; which you
may find of use.
