Elsevier journal subscription costs

The request was successful.

Dear University of Plymouth,

Please publish the total amount paid to Elsevier for academic journals in each of the last five years (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014).

I understand that your expenditure records may be held in academic financial years rather than calendar years. If so please provide figures for 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, and 2013/14.

The figures should include payments made directly to Elsevier as well as any payments made to subscription agents or intermediaries for the purchase of, and/or access to, Elsevier academic journals. They should also include payment for journal packages such as Jisc Collections’ NESLi agreement, as well as for individual journals. Please include VAT where possible.

Please do not include payments for other products from the same company, such as Scopus, which are not academic journals.

Yours faithfully,

Stuart Lawson
