I am requesting details about the VitalPac system deployed at the Trust.

Please supply copy of contract with the vendor of the system.

Please supply copy of all documentation relating to the tender (if any) that was published in connection with the system.

Please supply copies of all invoices received and processed in connection with the deployment, support and maintenance of VitalPac system at the Trust over the lifetime of the agreement.

Please supply copies of all invoices received and processed in connection with the deployment, support and maintenance of handheld devices used at the Trust over the lifetime of the agreement.

Please supply details of the number of devices deployed, lost, replaced, damaged, &tc at the Trust over the lifetime of the agreement.

Thank you for your email of 20 February 2013  where you requested
information about the Vital Pac System deployed at the Trust.

 

We can confirm that East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust
(EKHUFT)holds the information you have requested and is set out as
follows:

1.  Please supply copy of contract with the vendor of the system.

We can confirm that EKHUFT holds this information and a copy of the
contract is attached. The commercial details have been redacted from the
contract as these are deemed to commerically sensitive as set out in
Section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.  

2.  Please supply copy of all documentation relating to the tender (if
any) that was published in connection with the system.

We can confirm that EKHUFT holds this information and a copy of the tender
document is attached. 

 

3.  Please supply copies of all invoices received and processed in
connection with the deployment, support and maintenance of VitalPac system
at the Trust over the lifetime of the agreement.

We can confirm that EKHUFT holds this information.  I is deemed to be
commercially sensitive information protected against publication by the
contracted supplier, as set out in Section 43(2) of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000, therefore we decline to provide it.

 

4.  Please supply copies of all invoices received and processed in
connection with the deployment, support and maintenance of handheld
devices used at the Trust over the lifetime of the agreement.

We can confirm that EKHUFT holds this information.  It is deemed to be
commercially sensitive information protected against publication by the

5.  Please supply details of the number of devices deployed, lost,
replaced, damaged, &tc at the Trust over the lifetime of the

EKHUFT can confirm that since the Trust commenced the rollout of VitalPAC
on the 13th March 2012, we have deployed 408 iPods to wards and 409 iPads
in total to wards and clinicians. 

 

We have two iPads reported missing.  We are currently investigating these
devices.

EKHUFT can confirm that they do not create policies for individual ISNs
(DSCNs), this applies to ISB 0160.  We are taking this opportunity to
attach the Terms of Reference for the Data Quality Steering Group which is
responsible for identifying and communicating information relating to the
release of ISNs.
