Ian Booth, Aberdeen Heat and Power Company Limited

Dear Mr Baird,

Thank you for getting in touch with us with your request for information.
I have added comments in red against each of your questions below

a) details of your current charges for electricity to your customers
receiving power from your District Heating schemes in Seaton, Hazelhead,
Stockethill and Tillydrone, including any differential tariffs for
businesses, public buildings and individual local authority tenants; We do
not supply electricity to individual customers as any of our district
heating schemes.  We supply only heat

b) details of average thermal  unit of consumption of electricity per
household compared to historical usage prior to switch to CHP; As we do
not electricity we do not have any such records.  In any case this would
be the individual householder who would have records of electricity
consumption for storage heating before this was converted to district
heating.

c) details of any concurrent remedial actions on said properties to
increase heat retention, e.g. cavity, floor, wall or roof insulation;
window replacement/upgrading; anti-damp initiatives; external
modifications on properties and so on. We supply only heat ot these
properties and do not have any involvement on other energy saving
measures.  The properties within the multi storey blocks are owned by
Aberdeen city Council and I would refer you the their Housing Policy and
Assets team who may be able to give you such information

I trust this answers your queries in respect of Aberdeen Heat and Power.

Best regards

Ian
