Subject: Freedom of Information request - Electric vehicle charging point
installation

Dear Islington Borough Council,

A number of electric vehicle charging points have been installed on
pavements in the borough in recent months. Some of these points
significantly reduce the useable width of the pavement for pedestrians.

Please provide:
- A copy of any requirements used to evaluate potential locations, e.g.
minimum acceptable widths for pedestrians after installation
- A copy of any accessibility/equalities assessment done before
authorising this programme
- A copy of detailed design drawings for the charging point on Corbyn
Street near the junction with Almington Street.
