Electric charging points.
Dear Kent County Council,
According to Thanet district council Kent county council are not sanctioning additional electric chargers to be fitted.
Thanet council has 4 - 2 in mill lane Margate usually blocked by their own vehicles which they state are exempt from the 3 hour limit and 2 in ramsgate which are broken.
Under the FOI
Please advise how many chargers Kent county council have sanctioned or authorised.
The towns that have chargers in Kent sanctioned by the council and the number in each town.
Was the purpose of them for private vehicle owners or to be blocked by local authorities for their own vehicles.
When did KCC stop sanctioning additional charging units to be fitted.
Is it acceptable for a local authority not to sanction the repair of chargers within their jurisdiction- Ramsgate have been out of service approx 3 months.
How many electric vehicles are registered for use by Kent county council.
How many applications for charging points has KCC refused.
Yours faithfully,
Darren Charles
