Electoral boundary changes suggested by the different political parties

Joe Scofield made this Freedom of Information request to Bath and North East Somerset Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Bath and North East Somerset Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Bath and North East Somerset Council,

I'm conscious that a review of electoral boundaries is in progress with an aim to reduce the number of wards/councillors. Local political parties have submitted their suggestions.

Please could you tell me:

1) What existing named wards would be entirely dissolved (removed and their areas added to surrounding wards) under the Conservative Party's suggested scheme?

2) What existing named wards would be entirely dissolved under the Liberal Democrat Party's suggested scheme?

3) What existing named wards would be entirely dissolved under the Labour Party's suggested scheme?

Yours faithfully,

Joe Scofield

In the time since I made this FOI request, I discovered that the information could be deduced from the relevant body at this link: tinyurl.com/yct2ftjt .
In all honesty, I think the above response from Information Governance was a bit limp. They could easily have provided the same link.
And to attach a response as a document with the words "here is the information you are entitled to receive" only to see that there's no real data given when the document is opened, seems a bit silly as well.
