Subject: FOI 20171 Allocation
Ref: FOI 20171
Good morning,
Please see the Freedom of Information request below which has been
allocated to yourself for processing.
The response completion date is 02 September 2024
Note: due to an increasing number of requests that span more than one
directorate/department, requests are now allocated to the business area
where it is deemed the content is predominately focused. In this instance,
the responsibility of consulting with other service areas to fully
complete the final response lies with the Allocated Officer.
This also includes any element of the request involving financial
information, where you are now required to liaise with your service’s
Finance Manager, to assist in responding to the requester.
If however you believe this request has been incorrectly allocated, then
contact the IMT at [5][Oldham Council request email] immediately. You
will be required to offer a reason for the incorrect allocation along with
an indication where you feel it should be forwarded.
Important: The Freedom of Information Act places a 20 working day
statutory deadline on requests being completed. If you are unable to meet
the response deadline, you are required to inform your Director, as
regular performance monitoring reports are reviewed by the Executive
Management Team.
Also no internal communications should be included in any final response
to the requester.
Executive Directors and Directors are also required to make a judgement as
to which sensitive requests, if any, they wish to review and sign off.
Once completed please send your final response to the requestor directly
and also copy [6][email address] into your reply, so we can
update the system for you.
Please note that any emails received into the FOI Responses inbox after
4pm may not be actioned until the next working day.
