EHRC Report: The performance of the health sector in meeting the Public Sector Equality Duties: moving towards effective equality outcomes

Paul Swain made this Freedom of Information request to Equality and Human Rights Commission

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Equality and Human Rights Commission,

I refer to the recent Equality and Human Rights Commission report: The performance of the health sector in meeting the Public Sector Equality Duties: moving towards effective equality outcomes - see http://www.equalityhumanrights.com/news/... and http://www.equalityhumanrights.com/uploa...

1. I note that in the Executive Summary under Method it says

"A detailed report for each authority was produced, on which basis this overarching report was prepared."

Could you please provide me with a copy of the detailed reports that were prepared to allow the preparation of the overarching report.

2. I also note that the detailed reports do not appear to have been sent to the individual authorities (see my request to Peterborough PCT - http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/eh... ).

Could you please explain why this is as the reports would seem to be a useful resource for those authorities, and so help to spread best practice in the NHS.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Swain
